Jordan Bolds is a sax phenom from Tampa, FL. Combining genres of R&B, Gospel, and Contemporary Jazz, Jordan possesses a truly diversified sound with his saxophone.
Jordan Bolds is a 23 year old saxophonist currently attending the University of Central Florida as a Senior studying biophysics. If you live anywhere in the Tampa bay area, you have no doubt heard about this young man and his incredible gift as a saxophone player.
He is the son of Mr. Terrence and Dr. Angela D. Bolds, and the brother of Joel Bolds.
Jordan is an accomplished saxophonist and has been performing for twelve years. He first discovered his love for music and the saxophone in the 4th grade while attending St. Petersburg Christian School where he became a member of the concert band.
Jordan began to develop and perfect his gift and has participated in many church, community and social contests and showcases. He has won multiple awards including 1st place winner of the 2017 Power of Song “Sounds of the Civil Rights” Movement program held at the Palladium Theatre in St. Petersburg, FL, and 1st place winner of the 2017 Greatness Beyond Measure program held in Bradenton, Florida, and 2019-2020 COGIC National Man of Valor. In addition to this, Jordan has opened up for gospel artists, Jonathan McReynolds, Todd Dulaney and Marvin Sapp. He has also served as the opening performer for the Tampa Bay Black Heritage Festival in 2018, 2020 and 2021.
Jordan consistently performs at music festivals, weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, family reunions, and many other musical engagements. He has a very humble spirit and enthusiastically extends himself as both a minister and performer to the world of music.
